Therapy with Dr. Yves Bureau
(Adults only)

Through exploration of your social and personal experiences, I will guide you through a process of self-discovery to gain insight into your psychological functioning to live a more authentic and positive life. I tailor therapy to the needs of each individual using various methods and approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), 

Psychoeducation, Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBCT), Positive Psychology, Emotionally Focused, Person-Centered, Reality, Schema, Strength-Based and Exposure therapies where appropriate. I follow and uphold strict guidelines of confidentiality.

I can support you to overcome, heal from and/or manage various concerns including:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety and anxiety-related disorders

  • Obsessive compulsive behaviour

  • Personal or workplace stress

  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Low self-esteem/Low self-confidence

  • Personality disorders

  • Mood disorders

 

At the start of therapy, I will work with you to identify a central area of concern. This will allow us to maintain focus during the therapeutic process.
